Sonya Cipriano

(Brasil-Power-Dance)

Was born in the north-east of Brazil where she learned the traditional dances of her ancestors at an early age. She did an apprenticeship in classical dance and theatre at the School of "Macunaima" in Sao Paulo and another in modern dance at "Elly's Dance School" in Berlin. She gave several guest performances as a solo dancer at reputable theatres in Brazil and Europe. Sonya's dance style is significantly influenced by Brazilian dance. She combines modern dance with elements of Brazilian dance styles in order to create a new and unique form of expression. She has been living in Berlin since 1990 where she works as a choreographer, dance teacher and dancer.

Was born in Rio de Janeiro and dances Samba since her early childhood. She also danced at the famous Samba school "Beija Flor" in Rio de Janeiro. Luciane pours her heart and soul in teaching Samba and lives in Berlin since 1992. Since then she is a member of the Brazilian dance group "Tangara Brasil Dance".

Nathalia Machado da Silva was born in 1985 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

In 1992, she was in the dance school "Escola Estadual Maria de Danҫas Olenewa" trained as a dancer.

In 2004 she studied at the "Univercidade" University, Rio de Janerio in order to attend a dance course with the government-recognized qualification for the diploma in dance.

From 2003 to 2005, Nathalia participated in various workshops and appropriated by many experiences in the field of dance.

She also gained much practical experience through performances at the State Theater and the Opera House in Rio de Janeiro.


Nathalia has been working for six years as a teacher at the Academy "Mudart" in Brazil
.

Was born in Salvador and began her training in Capoeria at the age of 14. In 2001 she became a Capoeria-Instrutora and has been successfully teaching children, teenagers, and adults Capoeira for years. She is also a member of the international "Grupo de Capoeira Topazio".

Originally from Pernambuco, Carlos learned and performed the traditional dances of his homecountry in the north of Brazil. He has been working for years successfullyas a dancer, solo-dancer and choreographer in collaboration with several noted groups. Carlos did his training with "Gilson do Maje Mole", "Mestre Neia Noite do Darue Malunco" and "Marlcone Alves". In addition to Afro Brasil he teaches Frevo and Maracatu and has created his own dance group "Locomotiva do Frevo" which studies the traditional dances and histories of north Brazil.

Mr.Jurandi Silva, is an internacional dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. With background in Ballet and modern dance. Has studied and danced in Brazil, Portugal,Germany, Japan and the USA. He worked with many known teachers and choregraphers. He comes from New York after several years of work and dedication to his art. Here in Berlin Mr. Silva will be sharing his own experience and style in Tangara Brasil in a modern class designed to give you the freedom to move and be yourself.
