Tangará Brasil Dance

The Live percussion band began life in the small club Favela in 1995, where Brazilian musicians met and played together.
With furious and forceful rhythms Banda Furiosa began under the musical direction of Dadà. Their driving rhythms and totally dancable music makes for the best of atmospheres. They convey Brazilian joie de vivre and bring their audiences dancing to their feet.

Experienced in playing on stage as well as direct amoungst their audience, Banda Furiosa plays each year at large events such as the IFA and the massive Berlin-Marathon, the International Children’s Festival, Carnival of Cultures, the Fete de la Musique, in the Kulturfabrik or at business events.
As the Band plays without electrical applification and sound systems, the musicians can move about the room freely and play in different places to come in direct contact with the audience. The group play all of the Brazilian rhythms, from Samba, Forró, Bossa-Nova, Samba-Reggae to all the classics.
Banda Furiosa plays with between 6 and 15 musicians.
